Now that the holidays are over, the temperatures outdoors are cold and freezing, and the bad weather and footing are putting a damper on riding (unless you are one of the lucky ones to have an indoor arena), we are limited as to what we can do with our horses.
This is a great time to learn about different aspects of horses.
The Pennsylvania Horse World Expo 2013 will be held in Harrisburg at the Farm Show Complex on February 21 – 24. It is a HUGE event for all horse enthusiasts. All 4 days are filled with demonstrations, seminars, clinicians, entertainment, fun and shopping for all ages, non-stop.
At the expo, you will see many famous trainers such as Craig Cameron, Guy McLean, Kenny Harlow, Robert Dover, Richard Shrake,and many, many more.
It will also have the “Trail Champions Challenge”, “The 100 Day Thoroughbred Challenge”, “Equi-tainment “, “Mounted Games” demonstration, Parade of Breeds, and more. Many educational seminars will also be held at the expo.
So many activities will be going on, that it will be hard to choose which ones to attend.
“Theatre Equus: A Musical Equine Revue” will be performing on Friday and Saturday evenings, which is being held in conjunction with the PA Horse Expo. This is a theatrical presentation which is full of fun and excitement. Definitely a MUST SEE event!
Go see the Pennsylvania Horse World Expo 2013, even if it is for one day. It is well worth it.
