Spring is a better time to sell horse property. There are more Buyers searching at that time than the winter.
The first statement is false and the other one has some truth to it. Let me explain.
Right now is a good time to sell horse property. There is less inventory this time of year, which means less competition. Of course, if you don’t have to sell now, that is fine.
It is true that there are fewer Buyers searching for real estate. The buyers that drop out are the ones that are not ready to buy property yet. They are pretty much just looking to see what is out there. No matter what time of year, these Buyers would not have bought property. The serious Buyers are still searching.
Besides, the holiday decorations make the homes more attractive.
Just think, if the property is not listed now, before spring, you may lose out on that buyer that is searching for a horse property just like the one you have.
When making the decision whether or not to sell your horse property over the winter, ask yourself this question, “Can I afford to lose a Buyer?”
