Hang In There And Ride Through the Rough Ride To Success
Riding horses is not always smooth sailing riding. There will be times when it gets rough. Sometimes the horse will balk and refuse to move for you. Other times the horse may buck because it is happy. Then there may be times when the horse is spooked and will instinctively run from the “scary monster”.
Whatever sort of ride riders encounter, it must be taken in stride and worked through. The calmer and more level headed the rider, the better chance of staying on the horse and being able to ride through it. Doing so, the horse will have more confidence in the rider and follow it’s leader knowing that the rider will be looking out for it and protect it.
The same holds true in real estate. Some transactions go smoothly, while others have bumps in the road, some tougher than others.
As real estate agents, we must keep calm, patient and level headed to get through the transactions, overcoming the challenges we are given, gaining our clients’ trust and confidence in our abilities to get the job done and get it done right.
When it comes to some of the tougher challenges, if an agent falls apart and gets frustrated, their client will lose the trust and confidence in them. When this happens, the chances of getting to closing are slim.
No matter what type of challenges we are given in life, if we calmly stick with it, searching for a solution, we will succeed.
When the ride gets rough, we have to ride it through in order to succeed. Giving up is never an option.
