Dedicated To The Horse
I’ll fly without wings if you want me to.
I’ll jump the moon if I can.
I’ll come from across the field
When I hear you call my name.
…I’ll nicker softly in the early dawn
When I see you bringing my food.
I’ll rest my muzzle on your arm
While you hold my head to groom.
I’ll willingly carry you on my back.
I’m pleased to give you a ride.
I’ll listen intently as you ask;
Moving gracefully with pride.
As your horse I’ll do my part
To trust your plans for me;
Knowing you’ll take good care
To make me the best I can be…
