It was great to see activity once again in Pine Meadow, the lower portion of the USET facilities in Gladstone, NJ which hasn’t seen much action in the last few years. This past weekend a combined driving event took place there on April 30- May 2, 2011. Dressage and cones were on Saturday and Sunday, the marathon. This event has been absent from the facility for 2 years but recently a group of enthusiastic volunteers were eager to get it up and running again and to revitalize Gladstone which hosted the World Pairs Driving in 1993 – attended by HRH Prince Philip. Two big guns from the Four-in-hand world were there to lend support: Chester Weber and James Fairclough who was coaching a student.
